300 Catterick Thursday Pinpoint Recruitment Nursery Handicap

                                         Pinpoint Recruitment Nursery Handicap

Milly's Secret- Consistent filly from the in form Ann Duffield stable who has yet to finish out of the frame in her four races to date. Beaten a neck last time when top weight in a nursery, she again carries the maximum weight here. Will have to improve to take this off of 80 but the step up to 7 furlongs should suit and should be on the premises once more

Crowdmania- Well related Shamardal colt who went into numerous notebooks on the back of his staying on 5th in a 5 furlong Newmarket maiden that has worked out terrifically well. Slightly disappointing next time out when 6th at York but that has since proved to be a decent race. Stepping up to 6 furlongs last time he improved to finish 4th to Mappa Mundi, listed placed since, beaten just over a length. The step up to 7 furlongs should suit and with the trainer in red hot form it will be a let down if he cannot go close in this off of a mark of 77

Street Boss- Tim Easterby inmate who has finished third on his two most recent appearances. Will have to improve on what he has shown far to go close in this

Senorita Guest- Expensive filly who has been placed in 4 of her 5 starts to date. Ran her best race last time on nursery debut when 2nd to the useful Godolphin filly Autumn Lily at Ascot. That form entitles her to respect here but likely to find one or two too good

Flora Medici- Sir Mark Prescott filly who won a seller on her penultimate start. However failed to build on that when weakening tamely in the aforementioned Ascot nursery. She finished 15 lengths behind Senorita Guest that day and no reason why she will finish ahead of her let alone win

Sakhalin Star- 3 race maiden who gets in off of 59 allowing for his riders claim. Has steadily improved with racing, running his best race to date when third at Doncaster last time. That run gives him claims, the first two could be decent, off of such a light weight. But the yard are struggling for juvenile winners this year, just 1/35, and for that reason not difficult to pass over

Kraka Gym- Clodovil Gelding who has one placing from his 3 runs to date. That was a useful effort when 2nd to the 3 time winner Zalzilah but hasn't been so good either side of that effort. Gets in here off 62 so a reproduction of that run would see him go close in this

It's All A Game- Richard Guest filly who wears a visor here and who is running from along way out of the weights. Has shown nothing in her career to date to suggest she will be good enough here

Baltic Fire- Colt who is rated 47 and is a stone out of the handicap here. No more needs to be added

Verdict- A decent race but one that surely is within the capabilities of Crowdmania who gets in here off 77 and is a confident selection. Milly's Secret looks the obvious danger but Kraka Gym could be more of a threat if reproducing his penultimate run off a mark of 62

1 Crowdmania
2 Kraka Gym
3 Milly's Secret
